If your looking to protect your Maxima from mechanical problems, Nissan has great extended auto warranties with Maxima's Security+Plus® Vehicle Protection Plans. Nissan Maxima warranties have several different levels of coverage, offering 9 different term and mileage limits, all built to provide you with the peace of mind your looking for. All of these coverage's are available for your Maxima as long as it is still within the 3 year / 36,000 mile original manufacturer's warranty. These extended car warranties still offer the original benefits that are offered from Nissan on all of their new vehicles.

Every Maxima is backed by Maxima's New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which includes 36-month/36,000-mile basic bumper-to-bumper coverage, and 5-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain coverage. The Maxima warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or put into use, whichever comes first. There is no deductible for warranty repairs. If your vehicle is inoperative due to failure of a warranted part, towing service to the nearest authorized Maxima dealer is reimbursable for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Rental car reimbursement is a benefit of most of the Security+Plus Service Agreement plans, however is not provided with the original 3 year / 36,000 mile Nissan Maxima Warranty.

Your Maxima New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover repairs for damage or conditions which are determined to be due to the installation or use of non-Genuine Maxima Accessories available at the time you order or purchase your new Maxima, as well as after purchase from your Nissan Maxima dealer.
